The East County Regional Library’s August roster offers topics for all ages. The following activities are free to the public:

Get personalized help downloading eBooks, movies, music and more from Overdrive and Hoopla, two of the largest online content providers in the Lee County Library System. Bring your fully charged digital device to this hands-on help session. Note: Please bring any passwords that may be required to download the app. Kindle users will also need an Amazon account and password to access it.

Knitting and sewing

Wed 8/10/24 at 5pm

A group of casual, self-directed knitters and crocheters who come together to share projects, ideas and techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects and tools. Basic materials and supplies are available for novices.

East County Craft Club:

Saturday, August 13 at 2pm

Create a unique necklace with a magical ocean look. This program is available to 18 years of age and older. Registration is required.

Saturday 20th August 1pm-2pm

Children and teens can receive a $2 overdue fine for every 15 minutes of reading in designated areas, for a total of $8. Please bring your library card.

back to school family game day

Saturday, August 27 at 1pm

All families with children are welcome to join us for an afternoon of board games in the library. Bring your game strategy and we will provide board games.

Library Teen Talk

Tue 8/16/23 at 2pm

High school teens are invited to the library weekly to discuss current events, daily life, library resources, and more. Encourage teens to post answers to weekly questions while socializing and making new friends.

Play board games, video games, card games and more in the library. Teenagers are invited to join us for fun, games and socializing with friends after school.
