Set in a fantasy world where talking vehicles live, work and play alongside the people who drive them, spark buds Follow a boy named Bo and his fire truck best friend Flash as they team up with their first responder friends to help others in the community with problems big and small.
Each episode consists of two 11-minute stories that demonstrate the importance of teamwork, helping fellow citizens and volunteering. The creative team worked with RespectAbility’s consultants to help populate the diverse communities of Gearbox Grove and Motopolis featured in the series.
The series’ planned expansion includes Disney Junior Music: Walt Disney Records’ Firebuds digital soundtrack, which will debut on September 16, and a storybook by Disney Press later next year. Spin Master, the North American toy licensee for the line, will launch an innovative line of toys featuring vehicles, figures, playsets and more in summer 2023.
In addition, Bo and Flash will be in the upcoming Disney Junior Tour: Costume Paloozawhich launched on September 2, will make stops in more than 80 North American cities throughout 2022.
