“Anastasia,” a tale of romance, glamour, and intrigue, from the Tony Award-winning creator of the Broadway classic “Ragtime,” opens Aug. 2-7 at Kentucky Center at 501 W Main St staged. Individual tickets are sold for this dazzling musical about a young woman who is hunted down by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her.when the adventure begins Anya (Anastasia), played by Kyra Stone, gets the help of a dashing con man and a lovely ex-aristocrat. ‘Jagged Little Pill’ premiere headed to Kentucky Center
The new season of Louisville’s PNC Broadway won’t be out until October, but you don’t have to wait until then to enjoy the hits on Broadway. As “Anastasia” wraps up, the premiere of Tony Award-winning “Jagged Little Pills” lights up.
Louisville’s PNC Broadway, in partnership with Kentucky Performing Arts, recently announced the upcoming Louisville premiere of a new musical inspired by seven-time Grammy winner Alanis Morissette’s seminal rock album of the same name. Directed by Tony Award-winning Diane Paulus (Waitress, Pippin), Little Pill is about a completely imperfect American family. The Hollywood Reporter called it “exciting, visceral, and amazing.”

The Little Pill, directed by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus (Waitress, Pippin), takes place August 31 and September 1 at the Kentucky Center. Tickets for both performances of the Tony and Grammy-winning productions go on sale July 27.
Louisville’s PNC Broadway 2022-23 Season
The new season of the PNC Broadway series is less than two months away after the wraps of “Anastasia” and “The Little Pill.” The 2022-23 season includes an impressive lineup that includes “Hadestown,” “Pretty Woman,” “Annie,” and “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
The six-show season begins October 18 and runs from November 29 to December 4, with “Fiddler on the Roof” followed by “Pretty Woman: The Musical.” Then “Annie”, February 14-19, 2023, “Aint Too Proud: The Life and Times of Temptation” April 11-16, 2023, “Hadestown” May 16-21, 2023 , “Harper Lee To Kill a Mockingbird”, ends the season 20-25 June 2023.
The upcoming season will also feature some big-name stars on a number of national tours. Theater-goers will not only see Richard Thomas in To Kill a Mockingbird, but also Adam Pascal in Pretty Woman: The Musical (Rent House, School of Rock, Disney’s “Aida”).
