The original six Queen’s Adrianna Hicks and Abby Mueller perform their final Broadway show on August 7

The hit musical continues at the Brooks Atkinson Theater.

Broadway six Say goodbye to original cast members Adrienne Hicks and Abby Mueller, who both put on their final performances on August 7th in the historical remix musical.

Hicks played Catherine of Aragon, the divorced first wife of King Henry VIII, while Mueller played his third wife, Jane Seymour, who died in childbirth. Entering the role is Bray Jackson (Purple) and Kerry Rene Fuller (Sawtooth Pill), each beginning August 9 at the Brooks Atkinson Theater.

It was announced earlier this year that Hicks would play Sugar in the upcoming Broadway production Some people like it hot, Previews will begin on November 1st. Mueller will perform on September 20 as part of the Broadway and Vine series. Fuller joined the company full-time after filling Mueller’s vacancy earlier this year.

Andrea Macasaet, Brittney Mack and Samantha Pauly remain the Broadway productions of Anne Boleyn, Anna of Cleaves and Catherine Howard, respectively. Brenning Lark (Les Miserables) recently joined the cast as Survivor Katherine Parr, following the departure of Joey Woods on July 31.

Also joined are new alternates Holli’ Conway and Ayla Ciccone-Burton, both Broadway alumni Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.

sixCreated by Tony Award-winners Toby Marlowe and Lucy Moss, it follows the six wives of King Henry VIII of England in historical remixes that transform Tudor royalty into pop divas. Marlow and Moss took home the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score, and the show’s costume designer Gabriella Slade won Best Costume Design. Co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage, set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabrielle Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Kevin McCollum serve as Broadway producers.
