Veronica Stern, William Butler and more to lead the ANASTASIA North American Tour 2022-2023 season

The cast for next season’s Broadway production of ANASTASIA’s North American tour has been announced. The company will begin performing on August 23, 2022, the second week of a two-week event at the Citizens Bank Opera House in Boston, Massachusetts.

Veronica Stern, one of BroadwayWorld’s “People to Watch in 2022,” will play Anya. The cast will also include William Butler as Dmitry, Ben Edquist as Gleb, Gerri Weagraff as Dowage Empress, Bryan Seastrom as Vlad, Madeline Raube as Countess Lily and Leela Chopra, and Alexandrya Salazar as Little Anastasia. Orchestra includes Thalia Atala, Lance Timothy Barker, Zachary Bigelow, William Aaron Bishop, Louis Brogner, Armin Fusson, Rebecca Hartman, Caitlin Jackson, Brooklyn Liberty, Alec Lloyd, Victoria Madden, Billy McGavin, Lethan A. Roberts, Amy Smith, Sarah Statler , Lauren Teyke and Aidan Ziegler-Hansen.

ANASTASIA is heading to more than 50 cities next season, including Chicago, Indianapolis, Birmingham, Atlanta and Cincinnati, with others to be announced.Full route updated at ANASTASIA website.

This dazzling show takes us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the thriving 1920s Paris, where a brave young woman sets out to explore the mysteries of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer who decides to shut her up, Anya is aided by a dashing liar and a lovely ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.

ANASTASIA began performing on Broadway in March 2017 at the Broadhurst Theatre.

The show ran on Broadway for over 3 years to sold out audiences, then toured North America and Japan, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands, expanding its global “Fanastasia” community. Globally, the show has been performed more than 2,500 times and sold 3.4 million tickets. In addition, the show has won more than 15 major international awards, including Tony Awards, Drama Desk Awards and External Critics Awards, as well as Best New Musical in Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
